Raising "Radar" Pouters
Well, I've raised a Laudino baby hand feeding with a syringe. Obviously, the Laudinos aren't good parents. So... in creating "Radar" pouters, when you mate a Laudino hen and a homer cоck, are they able to raise their young or do you have to foster/hand feed their young? What about a Laudino cоck and a homer hen? And then, what about in the next generation when you mate the Laudino x homer with a Gaditano or Marchenero? Are they able to raise their own?

Re: Raising "Radar" Pouters
It all depends on the individual birds, but in general they are not good parents. My advice get yourself a pair of good pumpers that you know can raise babies and foster them out.

Re: Raising "Radar" Pouters
I agree. If you are raising these types of birds, you should have Fosters. But The Homer/Laudino pair should be able to pull it off, only because of the Homer. But beyond that, I am highly doubtful.

Re: Raising "Radar" Pouters
I've bred Radars for a while and have always used feeders.
