Here's a report from Joe Powers on the Horseman Thief Pouters:

"Here is the show report from Louisville. The Horseman were judged by Scott Amo of Michigan. I never saw the Horseman so cannot comment on any of them. I do not even know what the individual colors were. I had planned to judge them but I had so many birds to judge due to judges not getting to the show I spent all of Friday afternoon judging and all day Saturday. When I went to get the Horseman sheets I was told they had been judged in order to get the Rare Breeds finished for the group specials judging.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to those who showed and also got started in Horseman. We picked up several new breeders that I know of - and it may be that Thomas, John and Joe A. had birds go to new people as well.

Report from Joe A:

"Alan, I showed 2 Gaditano's I got from you. The Blue Bar decided not to pay attention and try to eat the Halloween decorations and was out early. A Blue Check cоck from you finished 5th in the Cocks with about 20 birds competing. My 2 Horseman I showed received excellent ratings of 90. The winning Gaditano was from Ralph Grider. Gail did not show any birds. I did not show the last Blue Check I received from you. The only other Spanish breed were Marcheneros and they were of only fair quality.

There were only 3 exhibitors showing the Horseman. I think there were only about 10 birds. Pretty lousy turnout. Joe"
