Alan, The Blue Grizzles look great on the Gaditano's. Too many Grizzles in Horseman not enough in the Gaditano's. Joe

Hi Gaditano,
love the birds,we don't have this breed in New zealand, but we have Valentcian thief pouters, of which i have about 30,
I am hoping to make something similar to the gaditano, by grossing with my norich croppers.
I am wondering if there needs to be any other breeds.
Your thoughts would be most welcome.

Hi Colin 
How come you all don't have more breeds down there?
Marcheneros might be good in the mix. If they are not available you might try pretezel type breeding with the Valencianos and Norwich. In time you should be able to recreate the Gaditano... but most would be dead ringers for Horseman Thief Pouters.
I once crossed Brunners with Laudinos and got birds that could pass as Horseman. I'll bet Valencianos x Norwich would do the same, maybe even better.
